| "Best of the West"
is a series of reports developed to highlight educational programs
and research results from the western states. These success stories are
selected to provide a public appreciation of the roles and work of western
Land-Grant Universities and regional colleges through the Cooperative
Extension, Agricultural Experiment Station and academic programs of those
institutions. The “Best of the West” features programs that benefit the
economy, the agricultural industry, the environment, urban communities, and
the health and well being of western citizens.
