University Center for Economic Development

The University Center for Economic Development (UCED) at the University of Nevada, Reno was established in the fall of 1992 in response to the growing need within the state for economic development research, technical assistance and educational services. The UCED's primary objective is fostering economic development throughout Nevada by making the extensive resources of the University of Nevada, Reno available to organizations and areas that can benefit from job and income creation and job retention efforts.  The UCED is sponsored by the University of Nevada, Reno with support provided by the Economic Development  Administration (EDA) of the U.S. Department of Commerce.

Economics, Society and Natural Resources

The Economics, Society and Natural Resources (ESNR) Research Unit is a group of UNR faculty members who focus on economic, social, and policy problems related to natural resources and ecosystem change in the Great Basin.
