- Files should be in Word for Windows or RTF format. If you have other
word processing programs or a Macintosh, files must be saved as a .RTF file. Please ensure that
your file has the .DOC or RTF extension and check for viruses before sending.
- Abstracts should be one side of a U.S. letter page, with 2.5 cm margins.
- Typing should be single spaced and justified to left- and right-hand
borders.
- Typeface should be 12 point Times Roman for title, authors,
addresses and text; 10 point for references and acknowledgments.
- Please use the layout indicated below. Make sure that you use a
U.S. letter size page to summarize the key elements of the work that will be presented including key
contemporary references.

| The
distinctive secondary wall ingrowths and consequent amplified plasma membrane surface area of
transfer cells has been purported to facilitate apoplasmic/symplasmic membrane exchange of solutes
at transport "bottlenecks" in plants. These specialized transport cells differentiate at the
maternal/filial interface during seed development in a number of cereals and grain legumes. |
