Nutritional Science Option in Nutrition
This program is designed to give students a strong science background that is appropriate for entry into health-related professional schools, such as medical, dental and pharmacy schools. Students receive a strong laboratory science background that gives them an opportunity to develop their research skills. This allows students to pursue graduate research and education within the nutrition field.
Careers upon graduating from this program will open up numerous opportunities. Some career paths include becoming a nutritionist, physical therapy aid, sports nutritionist, athletic trainer and opportunities in research and education. Continuing education in graduate or professional schools gives students additional options.
