Long Term Contraception in Feral Horses |
|
Population control of horses presents management difficulties as current techniques are expensive and not particularly effective. Contraceptive is a proposed alternative, but the efficacy and side-effects of long term contraceptive treatment has not been investigated. This project investigates the effectiveness of contraceptive treatment as well as the behavioral side-effects of two different immuno-contraceptive drugs on wild horses.
