Major: Animal Science and Speech Communication with a minor in Biology
Year in School: Junior
High School: Bishop Manogue Catholic High School
Hometown: Reno

Clubs and Organizations:
Pre Vet Club, Collegiate Cattlewomen, Delta Delta Delta, Blue Crew, and CABNR Student Ambassadors.

Jobs:
I have worked at Kings Row Pet Hospital since I was a senior in high school. I love it! Working at an animal hospital has been an amazing experience. The more I learn, the more I realize that I am in the right field of study. I plan one day to go to veterinary school, so the background working with animals will be very helpful.

Interests:
I enjoy wakeboarding, snow skiing, river rafting, camping, shopping, watching movies, playing with my dog, and…. I could go on forever. I pretty much love to do anything that involves hanging out with my friend and meeting people.

Why UNR College of Agriculture, Biotechnology, and Natural Resources?
I have wanted to be a veterinarian since I was a senior in high school. I have always loved animals so this seemed like the perfect career choice. Not only do I get to be around them all day, but I can help save their lives.

Favorite Quote:
“Worry more about your character than your reputation. Character is what you are, reputation merely what others think you are.” –John Wooden

Favorite Ambassador Memory:
I am new this year to the ambassadors so I do not have that many memories to choose from. When I think of the CABNR Student Ambassadors the first thing that comes to mind is food, so whatever my memory is it involves lots of yummy food!

Advice for New Students:
My advice to any student is to get as involved as you can in your school. If you do you meet people that you would not have met otherwise.
