Interests:
In my free time I love hanging out with my friends and watching funny movies. I love outdoor activities like surfing, camping, fishing, basically any outdoor activity! My other favorite activities are swimming and dancing.

Why UNR College of Agriculture, Biotechnology, and Natural Resources?
When I was in high school all I knew was I wanted to be a veterinarian, but I had no idea where I wanted to go for my undergraduate degree. When I found out about UNR’s Pre-Vet program I knew that’s where I was headed. The program is really amazing and so is all the staff. I know I will be well prepared when I apply to vet school.

Favorite quote:
One of my favorite quotes are, “worrying is like a rocking chair, it gives you something to do, but it doesn’t get you anywhere” from the movie Van Wilder, I like it because I worry too much and it reminds me not to freak out!

Favorite ambassador memory:
All the games we played on the retreat in Tahoe were lots of fun, especially the scavenger hunt that Meghan made and when we all went tubing =)

Advice for new students:
Go to class! It’s amazing how much it helps, and make sure you keep up on your work and studying because it’s really hard to catch up once you fall behind in a class. Also have fun because it is your first year and there are so many clubs and activities to get involved with, but don’t forget to manage your time!
