I’m a Biochemistry Major interested in pediatric medicine. I have a passion in working with kids and I volunteer as a teacher’s assistant for First to Sixth Graders in Silver State Adventist School.
The thing I like about the College (CABNR) is that they offer FREE printing every semester for CABNR students at the Student Center. It saves you money and that’s always a good thing!
I graduated from Auckland Seventh-day Adventist High School in New Zealand, where my family lived for seven years. New Zealand is a beautiful country and if you love to travel, camp, or fish, you have to visit this place. Before migrating to New Zealand, I was born in Manila, Philippines and moved to Muscat, Sultanate of Oman in the Middle East, where I spent most of my childhood years.
I direct, plan, and organize Community Outreach Concerts every year. This year’s concert “Rise Up 2008” was directed to help the youth of the Sparks/Reno community to make wise decisions that was presented into poetry, skits, music, and speeches. I’m also the Administrator and a soprano singer for the United In Christ Youth Choir of the Sparks Seventh-day Adventist Church.
During every summer and winter breaks, I enjoy presenting and writing speeches for youth revivals and competitions around California and Nevada. In my spare time, I like to play basketball, bowling, and watch movies with my family and friends.
My favorite quote is by Joshua J. Marine, "Challenges are what make life interesting; overcoming them is what makes life meaningful."
