I chose UNR's AAE program because of its reputation and small size. I researched the biographies of faculty and staff, the backgrounds and placements of the previous classes, and felt that I would be a good fit with this program. 

I have nothing but positive feedback on the AAE program. All of my classmates are friendly and take the time to help one other. Professors literally have an open-door policy and have very flexible office hours so that they can accommodate all students. The UNR staff does everything they can to assist students and answer their questions.

This level of personalization made me feel that I was not just a student ID number. In the end, as our dean says, it’s your program and your education; you can make it as challenging and rewarding as you want it to be.
