Campus Life
Student Health Services

The Student Health Center is staffed full-time with licensed health care professionals including physicians, practitioners, nursing staff, and pharmacy staff. No appointments are necessary Monday through Friday 8am-4pm. The principle responsibility of the SHC staff is to provide health services to all enrolled students. Automobiles

The campus parking system is a self-supporting enterprise. We receive no state appropriations. Therefore, all parking expenses are paid from the fees paid by students, faculty, staff and others who park here. Campus provides two forms of parking:

  • meters ($1.50/hour, enforced Monday-Thursday 7:30am to 8:00pm and Friday 7:30am to 5:00pm) and
  • permits: daily, semester or annual

Bicycles

For your convenience, bicycle lockers are available on campus for a fee of $20 per year as well as a $40 refundable deposit on a locker key. Please contact the Parking and Transportation Services office to find out the availability of bike lockers and for a bike locker application. Campus Shuttles

The Campus Shuttle Service at the University of Nevada, Reno is quick and convenient. All three shuttle routes are FREE! Shuttle service is available from 7:30am to 10:00pm Monday through Thursday and 7:30 am to 5:30 pm on Friday. Click HERE to view shuttle map.

 

Motorcycles

Motorcycles and motor scooters must be registered with the Parking and Transportation Services Department and must display a valid university parking permit on the right front fork or fender. Motorcycle permits are required on campus from 7:30am to 8:00pm Monday through Thursday and 7:30am to 5:00pm on Fridays. Click HERE to contact Parking and Transportation Services.
