New Service Notice: As of January 2010 we will be offering a Genotype Data Sizing Service. Once the data for your fragment analysis experiment is up to the server we will call the sizes of the products for each primer set run with each sample. The sizing data will be provided in an Excel spreadsheet format. The cost of this new service is $0.91/sample/panel. If you multiplex primer sets into a panel, the sizing of all primer sets in the panel for each sample is $0.91. For example, one sample run with four primer sets multiplexed into a single panel would cost $0.91. If you have 3 panels then the cost per sample is 3 * $0.91 = $2.73. If you are interested in this service or have questions about it, please contact Kris (775-784-1657; kruse@unr.edu).
Adjusted Service Notice: As of January 31, 2010 the Affymetrix GeneChip 3000 7G Scanner, Hybridization, and Fluidics System will no longer be covered by a service contract and if repairs are needed they may not be able to be addressed in a timely manner. We are still running sample processing, followed by sample hybridization to the chip, and finally the washing and staining of the chip. We will be running the scanning at no charge with the understanding that we cannot guarantee the scanning process. Our fees for Affymetrix sample processing are listed on our Prices link. If you have any questions regarding Affymetrix sample processing please contact Kris (775-784-1657; kruse@unr.edu).
