The College

The College of Agriculture, Biotechnology, and Natural Resources (CABNR) is a founding college of this Land Grant University. The College has a long and distinguished record of fulfilling the tripartite mission of teaching, research, and outreach programs benefiting the health and economic vitality of Nevada. The College's record of accomplishment and value to the State was affirmed by the 1997 Accrediting Team review that stated “The College has developed into a high quality teaching and research unit by any measure of achievement.” In an effort to be both relevant and accountable, the College has continuously and systematically reviewed and focused its programs in anticipation of the State's needs and the evolution of scientific discovery.
