Feedlot is a microcomputer program (Windows PC based) designed
to help producers compare the economics of alternative production and marketing
strategies. It allows users to develop and customize a partial budget for retaining
yearlings through a feedlot. This could include sending stocker-feeder cattle (600
to 800 lbs) to the feedlot or sending weaned calves (500 to 600 lbs) directly to
the feedlot.
